Gage had an appointment with a neurologist on Wed. (12th), this was due to an abnormal CAT scan that he had before Thanksgiving. The dr. said that the hardening of his brain tissue is a defect from when his brain was forming in my womb. Not anything to really worry about, except that it might be the cause of his speech delay. It also might be causing him to have seizures in his sleep. Which would explain his ability to not sleep. It would explain a lot! I have never seen anything to cause alarm while he is sleeping, but he will have an MRI in Jan. to figure out more of what is going on with his brain. The dr. did an exam and he did really well. She said that he seemed fine and smart and articulate. But she wants to figure out why his brain developed the way it did and to make sure that no seizure activity is going on.
There were so many prayers and so many people fasted for us and I know that the Lord was watching over us. He will take care of His Gage. Thanks to everyone who prayed for us.

We have been praying for you too. Did you get my reply to your email? I didn't hear back so I wasn't sure. We'll continue to keep you and Gage in our thoughts and prayers. We miss you!
